Born in Montreal, Dr. K. Ashraf has called Waterloo home since the age of six. Dr. Ashraf earned his BSc degree from the University of Waterloo, where he received an NSERC grant to pursue research in the field of microbiology. An exemplary student, Dr. Ashraf decided to pursue a career in dentistry and attended dental school at the University of Western Ontario.

After earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1992, Dr. K. Ashraf returned home to Waterloo to open his dental practice. Since then, he has provided comprehensive and innovative dental care in Kitchener-Waterloo and Southern Ontario.

A Community Leader

Dr. K. Ashraf is a Past-President of the Waterloo-Wellington Dental Society and holds active memberships in this and other dental societies. He also has provided pro bono dental care to patients in the Dominican Republic and was a Dental Provider of care to the Children in Need of Treatment program at the Waterloo Regional Public Health Centre. He still provides care for the clients at the Sunbeam Community Living Services for individuals with developmental disabilities.
